Board of Directors

Jonathan Tourzan

Jonathan serves as the Executive Director and has extensive background in non-profits and business. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and received a B.A in Economics, a B.A in South Asian Languages from the University of California, Berkeley. Jonathan was a Yoshiyama Award winner for community service in 1990 for his work with innovative recycling programs, work in Africa and work with youth organization.  He has served on the Board of Directors of Save the Frogs! and Creating Our Future.

Rochelle Owen

Rochelle has an a background in non-profit management and has served as a Director previously of Save the Frogs.  She also has worked in Africa as a volunteer in Sierra Leone.  Rochelle has her own business and experience with non profit management and organization.

Jenne Renfrow

Jenne has a backhround in non-profit management and has served as a Director of the Seattle area United Way.  Jenne works for Verizon and has a marketing and business background.

Henry Howard

John Akwetey is the Director of Eastern Region and was formerly an activist with Rainforest Action Network.

Crispin Ziekah

Crispin holds a BSc. Degree in Natural Resources Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology and a certificate in proposal writing and communication skills awarded by Tropenbos International. He is the Director in charge of eSyllabus for Africa’s programs in Northern Ghana and has had stints of work involving students and related projects.
